about MAPS Yarn

Maps Yarn was born after I discovered the joys of small-batch dyeing in my Lexington, KY backyard. I prep, dye, and process all yarn in my fiber studio with the company of three happy dogs and the slow Kentucky air. The name Maps is a nod to another one of my passions: mapping and cartography, and of course, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ song (I grew up on 2000s indie music).

As a knitter for over half my life, I know the importance of high quality, natural fibers, so I only create products that I love working with myself. Thank you for stopping by and supporting my small business!
